Astrium is a wholly owned subsidiary of EADS,
a global leader in aerospace, defence and related services.

Early 2009, we started collaborating with EADS, a large French company that will apply its knowledge of composites and of aerodynamic and structural design to the rotor blade market for wind turbines. France is one of the countries that will have a strong focus on green energy in the next couple of years, and that means growth. Due to this collaboration, EADS will be able to enter the market sooner and more successfully, and NGup will be able to further concentrate on service and special projects.
