After the consolidation in 2008, turnover for 2009 has slightly increased by approximately 10%, as expected. We had forecast
a little more, but we noticed that various customers hesitated as
a result of the general economic situation with its corresponding financing problems. The collaboration between EADS and
Plastinov in the south of France has proceeded well and a successful production facility has been established there.
NGup provides support.

Further focus on repairs and maintenance, both on-site and in the workshop, has been fruitful. The turnover of on-site maintenance and repair work has continued to increase, by approximately 40%. This is in accordance with the average market growth of this activity. At the start of the year, the organisation has been further adjusted to this development, with flexibility, safety and quality being the three focal points. Turnover distribution over the customers is another positive development. In 2005, 60% of our turnover was dependent on one customer. In 2009, the largest customer represents 21% of the turnover and turnover has been spread over more customers.

The storage facility in Almelo has been cleaned and closed and since the end of 2009 all activities and storage have been concentrated at the head office in Nijverdal. At the start of 2009,
the consultancy activities were transferred to a separate company: NGup Special Projects. Its first year was successful and profitable.
At the end of 2009, NGup South Europe was established. It will focus on service activities in southern Europe. The reason behind this is the strong growth of the service market in this part of Europe and the excellent collaboration between Plastinov and NGup.
The first projects are being worked on. For 2010, we’re counting on modest growth in the Netherlands and we’re expecting NGup South Europe’s first steps toward a serious service company.
